The Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society (OATS) is the professional member organization for certified and registered athletic trainers in the state of Oregon. OATS was founded in 1983 by a group of dedicated athletic trainers with the mission to enhance the quality of health care provided by certified and registered athletic trainers and to advance the profession of Athletic Training in the state of Oregon. Today OATS has nearly 450 members and aims to accomplish its mission through strong working relationships, education, and fellowship among athletic trainers and who they influence.
OATS is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit membership corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Oregon.
Members of OATS abide by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s (NATA) Code of Ethics. OATS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, military status, sexual orientation, or age.
The mission of the Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society is to enhance the quality of health care provided by certified athletic trainers and to advance the profession of Athletic Training in the state of Oregon. The mission shall be accomplished through strong working relationships, education, and fellowship among athletic trainers and who they influence.
